Ningbo Huayuan Metal Prouducts Co., Ltd. manufactures high quality stainless steel spring wire from 0.30 – 12.00 mm in bright as well as in stearate coated surface finish.

Stainless steel spring wires can be supplied in ½ hard, ¾ hard & full hard conditions as well. We are using drawing lubricants from TRAXIT and also of Japanese origin.



Description

TYPE 316 Similar in composition to Type 302, Type 316 stainless steel wire has a slightly higher nickel content and 2-2.50% molybdenum giving this alloy better corrosion resistance. Type 316's tensile strength is 10-15% lower than that of Type 302, and the alloy is slightly less magnetic in the spring temper than Type 302. With its superior cold working properties, it can be used for severe cold forming operations and exhibits short time tensile and creep strength properties at elevated temperatures.



APPLICATIONS

Stainless steel spring wires are used for producing various types of springs like aerosol spring, Compression spring, Extension spring, and
Torsion spring as well as for wire form, Straight Pin etc.



STANDARDS

The stainless steel wires are manufactured as per ASTM A 313, EN 10270-3, JIS G4314, BS 2056 & DIN 17224 and other equivalent international standards.
